It was a busy day in P6K when we used the interactive shared learning device Izak9. Pupils learnt how to work together to solve problems and develop reasoning and Numeracy skills.
The first task was to arrange the cubes in the Izak9 box to form a bigger cube with a different 2-dimensional shape on each face. This took lots of time and trying various ways to get the cubes to all connect.
The second task was to build a wall displaying the connections between fractions and percentages. Everyone worked well together to build the wall in numerical order.
We then enjoyed an interactive Numeracy quiz in the hall hosted by Mr Mitchell. Well done to the winning team!
The boys and girls had a super day!
