We woke again to beautiful blue skies on this our final morning in Castlewellan. After packing and clearing our rooms, we ate our breakfast and headed for the maze, our final activity. We set off in groups to find the middle and then try to find our way back out! In theory, this looked quite simple, but the reality was very different! We did, however, eventually negotiate a way back to the bridge to ring the bell!
When finished, we returned to the castle for our lunch before some important thank yous to the centre staff and our own school staff for helping us all to make this a special trip. We have made memories that will last a lifetime.
Mr Blevins, Mr Mullan, Mrs Kennedy, Mrs Black, Mr Mitchell, Miss Gordon and Mrs McConnell are all very proud of us, and what we have all achieved over the last three days.
Now it’s time for some much needed sleep!
