The NI Children's Commissioner, Mr Chris Quinn, visited Edenderry's Specialist Provision classes on Friday 8th November. The Commissioner has represented children's interests, through a rights lens, locally, regionally and internationally, and holds responsibility for championing children and young people’s direct participation in decision-making. During his visit, the Commissioner met and chatted with the children about their indoor and outdoor learning opportunities and enjoyed listening to the children explain the work they have displayed on their classroom boards. The Commissioner then discussed the needs of the children and the staff's approaches to meet those needs with Mr Blevins and the staff in the Specialist Provision classes.
