Our hockey girls travelled to Lurgan College today to take part in the McCloy Cup Qualifying Tournament ran by Ulster Hockey. Our squad were extremely excited to have their first tournament wearing our new kits kindly sponsored by Bodyfit Mums and Wendy's House Childminding.
The timetable of games for today was very busy with our girls having to play three challenging and physical games back to back. With little time in between games to catch our breath we played very well all things considered. We played Millington, Waringstown, Hardy Memorial and Armstrong in our group games, and Maralin in a group crossover game. Although the results were not always in our favour every single player stepped up to the challenges that met them.
Well done girls, you will all sleep well tonight after all your hard work!
