As part of community of enquiry approach to science in P7 we had our pupils investigate
Who can propel a page of A4 paper the furthest?
The theories and predictions made for very interesting a varied approaches.
Not everyone wanted to make a paper plane, or even a dart, maybe a Frisbee, a tightly folded square or perhaps simply scrunch up a ball tight.
Then we couldn't even decide how to propel it - an overhand throw, a lob, skim it along the floor, maybe even kick it.
A very enjoyable experiment....
