Today our Boys football team competed at a football festival at Drumgor. The boys put on an excellent display and were superb ambassadors for our school, competing for everything in a positive and focused manner.
The team won their first two games against Millington and St Francis with Tom W scoring twice in the first game and Harvey A scoring the only goal at the death of the second game. The next two games saw two draws against Millington and St Francis again, with Denis M scoring a wonder goal. Our final game was against Hardy Memorial, who were the team to beat, and our boys lost out narrowly 2-1 with Danny H scoring a fantastic free kick from distance. Overall, it was a great experience for our young team who showed great promise and teamwork throughout.
